Some of our clock models will arrive with extra clock hands as complementary accessories, this will allow you to change ahestetics of your wall clock by changing the clock hands.
Here is a step by step guide that will help you switch the clcok hands on your clock.
1. PLACE THE CLOCK ON A TABLE
2. Depending by the model of your clock, the clock hands can have a screw, or a pin that hold the clock hands.
3. The screw need to be un-screwed and pin need to be pulled-up
if your model of clock has the PIN (visit this Instruction Manual)
4. After removing the screw or the pin, the clock hands will be free to be removed.
5. Start removing the Minute Hands (long)
The minute hands is easy to remove, as it is not hooked up.
Grab it by the rounded central part.
6. Remove now the Hour hands (short)
The Hour hand is hooked up onto the mechanism and it's a bit more harder to take out. Please, grab it from the rounded central part and pull it up.
Your clock should be now free of clock hands and you should see the clock mechanism free
It's time to install the new clock hand
1. Insert first the Hour Clock hand (short)
The hour clock hand has an hexagonal hole, that need to be hooked on the clock mechanism base which has an hexagonal invite at its base (grab it by the rounded central part)
2. Insert the Minute Clock hand (long hand)
The minute hands has an oval hole, and need to be placed on top of the mechanism. this hands will be easily inserted and it will remain free and not stuck. (the next step will tight the minute clock hand)
3. Screw the yellow Screw
It's now time to screw the yellow screw which will lock the minute hand so as to keep it still.
The screw it's very important and need to be screwed correctly.
sometimes the screw will be inserted wrongly and if this happen, the minutes hands will result loose.
To correctly insert the screw, we suggest you to do the following:
1. place the screw on top of the mechanism
2. rotate the screw anti-clockwise until you hear a "click" sound.
3. that sound indicate the entry-point.
4. rotate the screw clock-wise
If you see that the minute hand is stopped and locked, it means that the operation was done correctly
If the entire operation was correctly performed , the hands are well in place and correctly moving.
if you see that the hour or minute hand are loose, please, repeat entirely the operation.
